For those wishing to register/transfer-in Canadian .ca domain name
Step 1 (For NEW registrations) Transfer-Ins SKIP to Step 2
For NEW registrations only. Check to see if someone else already "owns" it.

For example, to search to see if mydomain.ca has already been taken, enter mydomain in the text search box and click the "Search" button.
Results:
If it comes back with: "Status: AVAIL" then this means that no one else owns it and you may go ahead and register this domain name for yourself. Move on to step 2.
If however, it comes back with "Status: EXIST" and/or bunch of current owner and registrar information, then it clearly is not available for you. Repeat step 1 until you find a name that is available and acceptable to you.
Step 2:
Initiate .ca registration or transfer-inthrough ChristianHostMaster by making a credit card or PayPal payment for your domain name. Please be sure to enter your domain name (e.g. mydomain.ca) in the textbox below with the correct spelling of your domain name including the .ca extension. Note that payment will be processed securely by PayPal (an eBay company) with no finanical or credit card information coming to us. Then monies are forwarded electronically on your behalf to a domain registrar which actually registers the domain. There are absolutely no refunds once payment is processed with any spelling mistakes in the domain name. You are enrolling into a subscription and the system will automatically attempt to process on an annual basis 3 months prior to your renewal date (9 months after your initial payment) so that you will not lose your domain name with plenty of time to act. This is to prevent the number one problem - domains lapsing when you do not intend to do so. Note that to transfer, you must already own the domain (you are transfering registrars, not the registrant or the owner. Paying this amount to transfer domains you do not own will not transfer the ownership of the domain over to you plus you will NOT get any refunds.
